The Chinese American Citizens Alliance - Houston Lodge is part of the National Chinese American Citizens Alliance, a non-partisan Chinese American fraternal, benevolent non-profit organization founded in 1895.

Our History
Established in 1954, the Houston Lodge is a part of the National Chinese American Citizens Alliance, a non-partisan Chinese American fraternal, benevolent non-profit organization founded in 1895. Our national organization began in San Francisco, California. It was formed as a result of unfair immigration laws passed solely against the Chinese called the "1882 Exclusion Act ". C.A.C.A. has been spearheading efforts against unfair immigration laws, working to promote naturalization and citizenship, participating in the census count, having equal educational economic opportunities, and advocating voter registration.

On April 18, 2026 C.A.C.A. Houston Lodge hosted the Spring Plant and Seed Swap at the Chinese Community Center.

Miss Chinatown USA Pageant On March 6, 2026 Megan Martono, Miss Chinatown Houston was crowned 2nd Princess at the Miss Chinatown USA Pageant in San Francisco.
Megan was presented with a "gum pao" and "hong bao" by Joanna Tom, National CACA Marshal and Sherman Tang.
